Much
has been said about the gubernatorial ambition of Prince Dr. Charles Onuoha
under the APC as a party as regards the purported second term ambition of
Owelle Rochas Okorocha.
It
would be recalled that Charles Onuoha’s gubernatorial ambition in the state did
not start with the APC. Prince Dr. Charles Onuoha started his gubernatorial ambition
under the Labour party (LP) before he collapsed his structure to support Owelle
Rochas Okorocha in 2011.

Feelers
coming from the campaign Headquarters of Imo Consolidation Agenda 2015, the
Campaign Organization of Prince Dr. Charles Onuoha, show that he never showed
interest in contesting for the governorship until January 15, 2014 when the
Owelle called a meeting of stakeholders in his government to declare his
interest in contesting for the presidency come 2015.
If
that was actually the case, then it would be foolhardy for anybody to think that
there is a fight between Charles Onuoha and his master the Owelle Rochas Okorocha.
For
the benefit of hindsight, it would be recalled that Prince Dr. Charles Onuoha,
had been a two-time commissioner, an SSA and is presently a board Chairman
under this administration and so cannot engage in any fight with his master.
Investigations
have shown that the idea of a fight for the APC ticket between the Owelle and
his beloved son is being sponsored to discredit the renowned technocrat of
unquestionable pedigree in the person of Prince Dr. Charles Onuoha.
Charles
Onuoha is a courageous young man who has taken the bull by the horns and his
action is worthy of commendation.

If
there is anything the Owelle and his beloved son, Prince Dr. Charles Onuoha have
in common, it is not a contest for the APC ticket in the state, it is rather
integrity.
Talking
of integrity, Individuals that are self-confident do not doubt themselves to
project their self-confidence unto others, building their trust and commitment.
Integrity
is demonstrated in individuals who are truthful, trustworthy and principled.
They are consistent, dependable, loyal and not deceptive. Those are the
qualities the Owelle shares with his son.
The
Owelle has not made it clear again after the June 15th statement
that he is going for a re-election and until he says so, the democratic space
remains democratized.
It
is on the light of above that the Owelle is called upon so support Prince Dr.
Charles Onuoha’s aspiration as he is capable and positioned to preserve the
Owelle’s Rescue Mission Agenda.
